MAJOR GAMEPLAY SYSTEMS
Planet conditions
Every system in the galaxy comes with one of four unique conditions that shape your strategy. These conditions make each galaxy layout dynamic, rewarding smart expansion—and punishing reckless moves.
Civilized Worlds – grant resources and an OCC card the moment you take control.
Anomalies – mysterious systems that generate continuous victory points.
Harvester Worlds – rich environments that always provide the highest resource income.
Dangerous Systems – high-risk, high-reward zones: roll a die, and on 3+ you gain a free planet upgrade… on 1–2 one of your ships is lost.
Alliances
At the start of the game, players form predetermined alliances (e.g., 1–3–5 vs. 2–4–6). Allied players may support each other in battle: when one ally is attacked, the others may send up to 4 units from a single fleet as reinforcements.
Winning a battle together grants the defending player a reward of 3 resources and 1 OCC card, making coordinated defense and timing essential.
Alliances are structured — but how and when you support each other remains a tactical choice.
Objectives
Every player begins the game with secret objectives, while additional objectives are revealed publicly for everyone to race toward. Completing these goals grants victory points, creating multiple paths to win beyond pure combat or expansion.
Some objectives reward bold actions (like destroying a flagship), others reward economic mastery or strategic planning (like owning multiple planet upgrades or controlling key systems).
Your choices shape your route to victory — and only the most adaptable commander will complete their goals first.
